| Clyde and Marjorie Skidmore served the state of California in the pastoral ministry for over 50 years. God used them to touch the lives of countless people for the Gospel. During their retirement years, they faithfully attended Valley Baptist unless Pastor Skidmore was preaching somewhere. Both have now gone home to be with the Lord. It is our desire to remember them in the following unique way. For years we have provided scholarship assistance for students in our church who are attending a full time Christian university and have plans to go into full time Christian ministry. We are now designating this assistance to students as the Clyde and Marjorie Skidmore Scholarship Fund. We believe that their inspiring story will motivate young men and women to follow in their steps of faith. If you would like to contribute to this fund, just designate your gift to Valley Baptist for the Clyde and Marjorie Skidmore Scholarship Fund. Each gift will be given to a student preparing for the ministry. |
