Biblical Lay Counseling
Care Connection is a ministry of Valley Baptist Church that offers Biblical Lay Counseling (Spiritual Care providers) free of charge to the congregation. We will also see the community at large as long as schedules allow. The Care Connection team is trained to encourage, comfort and equip people dealing with:
- Marital Issues
- Family Issues
- Grief and Loss
- Anger
- Depression
- Financial Issues
- Lack of Identity and Purpose
- Anxiety and Worry
- Chemical Dependency
Spiritual Care providers on the Care Connection team walk with others through their difficulties, pointing them to Christ and providing comfort with comfort they themselves have received from God (1 Corinthians 1:3-7).
By listening with compassion and applying scriptural principles to everyday problems our Spiritual Care providers can help people learn to live an abundant life, even in the midst of painful circumstances.
