A beautiful home for our full-time missionaries to live in while they are home on furlough.

This home was paid for and fully furnished by the generous members of Valley Baptist Church. It is a great example of God’s provision for the missionaries who have sacrificed so much to take the gospel to the nations. When they are home, they stay in the house free of charge with access to a van to use during their stay. Karen Watson

Throughout the month of March, we emphasize missions! In large part, we chose March for a reason. 20 years ago, a woman named Karen Watson was sent out of Valley Baptist to be a missionary in Iraq. Sadly, she was martyred for her faith on March 15, 2004. A big part of her story was a powerful letter she wrote that was only to be opened in the event of her death. That letter is on display in the foyer of the Fruitvale and Olive Drive Campuses.
