A beautiful home for our full-time missionaries to live in while they are home on furlough.

This home was paid for and fully furnished by the generous members of Valley Baptist Church. It is a great example of God’s provision for the missionaries who have sacrificed so much to take the gospel to the nations. When they are home, they stay in the house free of charge with access to a van to use during their stay. Karen Watson

In 2003, a woman named Karen Watson was sent out from Valley Baptist Church as a missionary to the Middle East. Sadly, she was martyred for her faith on March 15, 2004, when the vehicle she was riding in was attacked by armed militants. An enduring part of her legacy is the powerful handwritten letter she wrote to our Senior Pastors at the time, Pastor Roger and Pastor Phil, to be opened only in the event of her death.
